2G: Shootout at PM's house? Pranab, Chidambaram meet
The two ministers rushed to meet the PM after the controversial 2G note by the finance ministry reportedly created ruckus in the core Congress party.
A sensational RTI report showed that finance minister, Pranab Mukherjee accused Chidambaram of not doing enough to prevent 2G spectrum scam in 2008.
However, Congress has so far claimed that the controversy has not created any ruckus among the leaders of party. Several core meeting have been taking place in the Congress party since the sensational RTI report has been unveiled.
Congress President, Sonia Gandhi also met Ahmed Patil, AK Antony and Mr Mukherjee at her 10 Janapath road residence on Thursday.
Pranab and Chidambaram, who left PM's residence at the same time, are expected to hold a joint press meet along with telecom minister, Kapil Sibal and law minister, Salman Khurshid.
