Gandhinagar, Sep 25: Gujarat Chief Minister, Narendra Modi kicked off his massive rally from Gandhinagar on Sunday, Sep 25. Modi will march to Ahmedabad and almost 5 lakh people are expected to participate in the yatra.

With the believe and promise to get justice for all, the yatra has been initiated by Modi who recently held a three-day Sadbhavna fast to promote peace and harmony in the state.

Calling his rally a "mother of all rallies", the Gujarat CM set the slogan for the yatra - 'Anyaya Hatao, Gujarat Bachao' (Get rid of injustice, save Gujarat).

Modi's yatra just ahead of the court hearing on the controversial Lokayukta appointment will definitely mark a significant role.

The CM has also called for a two-day assembly session on Sep 27 and Sep 28 for implementing the Lokayukta Act to ensure that the state government or the Chief Minister have a decisive say in the appointment of the Lokayukta, which is not the case under the present Act.
