Merciless job: Police brutally beats mentally unstable man

Satna/Madhya Pradesh, Sep 23: A 40-year-old mentally challenged man was brutally attacked by a policeman on Friday, Sep 23 at Satna in Madhya Pradesh when he allegedly fought with his neighbours.

Ram Krishna, the victim got into a fight when his neighbours insulted him for his mental ability. His neighbours called the police when Ram started fighting with them. Balbir Singh Jaggi, the head of the local police station came to the spot and brutally thrashed the victim. Ram started bleeding. He ( Balbir Singh Jaggi) delivered him with seven blows and dragged his legs before moving him to the police station.

After assaulting the mentally challenged man, the police tied him up and forcefully threw him into the police vehicle. State's Home Minister, Uma Shankar Gupta suspended Balbir Singh Jaggi.
