Friends, well-wishers mourn IIMB girl's death on Facebook

Bangalore, Sep 21: Friends dedicated a community page Malini Murmu R.I.P to the IIMB girl who committed suicide following her boyfriends status message posted on Facebook on Sep 18.

"god bless her soul and her family members..." read one message from Riddhi Chirag Sanghavi.

"RIP DEAR ..............n its a rqst 2 all gals n boys b frontier , dont do dis type of stuff its a wrong way , u should think ab8 ur prnts..," read another message from Deepak Kumar.

"RIP," read another message from Rajiv Kumar.

Many on the social networking site expressed their emotions, while many felt that the decision she took at this tender age was wrong. Many others expressed their shock and grief over the incidence and blamed her boyfriend Abhishek for the tragic incident.

"RIP...Please hang that Bastard too....then only her soul will be in peace....," read Abhi Raam's message.

22-year-old Malini Murmu committed suicide by hanging herself in her room. Malini was a first-year student at IIM, Bangalore and hailed from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. [Read More: IIM girl commits suicide after being dumped on Facebook].

In a spurned love story, the couple broke their relationship after an argument. On Sunday, Sept 18, Malini found a status posted by her boyfriend on Facebook that read: "Feeling super cool today. Dumped my new ex-girlfriend. Happy independence day."

After reading the status which depressed her, she committed suicide and in a suicide note left behind, she wrote that she committed suicide as her boyfriend left her. "He ditched me. This is the best I can do to take revenge," she wrote.
