Hyderabad, Sep 20: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief, Mr K. Chandrasekhara Rao, once again planning to go on an indefinite fast unto death for a separate state of Telangana as said by senior party leader and family member.

TRS chief son K. Tarakarama Rao said that KRC has been consulting with the party senior leaders on proposed fast unto death. Meanwhile, the decision is likely to be declared by late hours of Tuesday (Today) evening.

Earlier, in Nov 2009 he had first launched his fast unto death for a separate state of Telangana. After 11th day of fast, on Dec 9, 2009 the government has agreed to start the process of formation of separate state.

KCR's daughter and president of the party's cultural wing K. Kavita said as a daughter of Telangana she would welcome the fast by KCR. "However, as a daughter of KCR, I don't want him to go on fast in view of his poor health," she said.

Meanwhile, Telangena Joint Action committee (JAC) are on their general strike from last eight days for the separate Statehood. All government employees, teachers and workers of state-owned Singareni Collieries Company Limited are also joining the strike. State lawyers are boycotting the courts on wake of the strike.
