Agra Blasts
Lucknow, Sept 19: With the investigative agencies still trying to find leads in the Delhi High Court blasts case, the much recent blast in the Agra hospital on Saturday are diverting the focus of the officials. Initial reports suggest that a crude improvised explosive device was used to trigger the blast that led to the injury of 6 people.

With terrorism playing heavily on the minds of the probing officials, another twist in the investigations suggest that the blasts could have been the result of business rivalry among hospitals in the area. Such claims have raised eyebrows among officials who are looking for leads into the blast case.
An official has been quoted as saying, "Six batteries of nine volts were recovered from the site." But with the latest rivalry angle exposed in the case, the officials are looking into the same.

The blast occurred at the Jai Hospital near the Hari Parbat locality where there are several private hospitals and nursing homes. Though, news of the rivalry are doing the rounds, the authorities are not ruling out the terrorism angle as well. The fact that the hospital is located a mere 2.5 km from the Taj Mahal has also been taken into consideration. Officials added, "Security in and around the Taj has been beefed up."

Meanwhile, Special DGP, Brij Lal stated that investigations are on in the case and said, "The possibility of the blast in Jai hospital being a terrorist attack could not be ruled out."
