Chhatisgarh CM, Raman Singh seeped in corruption?

Raipur, Sep 16: A team of 75 Congress leaders on Thursday, Sep 15 held a meeting with president, Pratibha Patil demanding a CBI probe against corruption cases in the state of Chhatisgarh. The Congressmen submitted a memorandum in relation to the misuse of the state funds at the hands of Raman Singh"s government.

The Congress convoy was headed by state congress chief, Nand Kumar Patel. They alleged that the BJP government in the state has been serving their personal benefits in the fields of mining, allotment of water resources, employment guarantee scheme and road construction projects.

The delegation also alleged a scam of Rs 3,000 crore in the purchase of paddy and suggested an audit of Markfed. Another scam of Rs 10,000 crore was alleged on the state government in the road construction project.
