Etawah (UP), Sep 15: Accepting that the past BJP governments in Uttar Pradesh have ignored the feelings of party workers, BJP state incharge Uma Bharti today (Sep 15) said it would not happen again if the party was voted to power.

"The BJP government in the state had done development and public-interest works but ignored party workers and their feelings. It will not be done in future, if party is voted to power in the state," she said here.

"If BJP forms the next government, legislators will run Assembly and party workers will run the government," Bharti said to boost the morale of the party workers.

She said her party, if voted to power, would probe into misuse of government exchequer during the past 10 years, and added that a strict law to check cow slaughter, land acquisition and cleaning of Ganga would be enacted.
