Earlier security has been beefed up in all around the city to avert any kind of terror attack. Special teams of police have been allocated in all places to mark and arrest the people who will leave unidentified objects during the Ganesh immersion.
Police officials informed, "If anyone drops any unidentified object and this group notices it, the person concerned will be immediately caught."
"The object he/she dropped would be checked in front of that person. In case anything suspicious is found, appropriate action would be initiated against him/her," added the police.
