New Delhi, Sep 4: It seems that one of the crucial members of Team Anna - Arvind Kejriwal has been targeted for several reasons and with the latest development, the RTI activist has faced privilege motion.

Earlier, Income Tax notice was sent to Kejriwal as he was accused by the I-T department of not returning back to government service after he was sanctioned study leave demanding that he return his two year's salary of Rs 3.50 lakh with an interest of Rs 4.16 lakh. Kejriwal also took a computer loan for Rs 50,000 which accumulated to Rs 1 lakh.

Meanwhile, reports came that Kejriwal was issued similar notices in 2007 and 2008 too. However, the RTI activist had earlier stated, "IT Department hasn't contacted me for 4 years. IT department is under the pressure from political bosses."

Other members of Team Anna - Kiran Bedi, Prashant Bhushan also have been faced privilege motion. Kejriwal has faced the wrath over allegedly using derogatory language against the government and MPs during his speeches and has been asked to reply within Sep 14.

However, asking a clarification, Kejriwal asked the government to point out exactly where was such language used.
