Manmohan Singh, in the Parliament claimed that the government will discuss all versions of Lokpal Bill in the House and also urged the 74-year-old Gandhian crusader to call off his fast which has entered 10th day on Thursday.
"His point has been registered. I respect his idealism. Anna Hazare has become the embodiment of people's concern and disgust with corruption. I applaud him, I salute him," asserted the PM in the parliament.
Requesting Anna to give up his fast, Manmohan Singh said, "I want Jan Lokpal Bill to be given due consideration by the Parliamentary Standing Committee."
"I request all to request Anna that his point has been registered and we will take note of it," said the Prime Minister while addressing the Parliament.
Meanwhile, reports claimed that crucial members of Team Anna - Arvind Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi became the main hurdles in the talk with the government.
According to reports, Kiran Bedi's tweets on the Lokpal issue have been creating confusion and Anna will now directly talk with the government. The latest reports might prove as an impasse among the members of Team Anna.
