Flood hit UP:Tree falls on Jayaprada's car, actress stranded
The actress later stated, "Since I have come, I have been trying to come out, but have been unable due to flood waters. We have not been able to move forward due to the accumulated water. It's been three to four hours. A tree too fell on our car but we got saved."
Following heavy rains in the Himalayan region, the flood situation in the state has been aggravated. Communication in the highways connecting Lucknow-Delhi, Delhi-Bareilly and Delhi-Bijnor has been disrupted over the same reason.
Meanwhile, the actress left a statement on Anna Hazare who has started a nation-wide "peaceful" protest for Jan Lokpal Bill.
"We are not against Anna; we are in support of his views on corruption. Nobody is going to support corruption; we are there to fight against corruption so that the country truly moves forward. But you cannot go against the parliament, this is a system and things should be done accordingly," stated Jayaprada.
