Washington, Aug 18: So what would Barack Obama do if he is re-elected to the White House again in 2012? Resurrect the fledgling economy, wind up the war against terrorism, create more jobs? No, he will use the Secret Service commandos to keep boys away from his two daughters!

Flummoxed? Don't be, because that was what Barack Obama, the President of the United States said to the CNN. He said, "When I'm re-elected, what I will be getting them (his daughters Sasha and Malia) is a continuation of Secret Service so that when boys want to start dating them, they are going to be surrounded by men with guns."

And added, "That's their gift."

Well, the answer was given in jest when he was asked, "The last time you were elected, you got Sasha and Malia a cute little puppy... What are you going to get them the next time, if you're re-elected?"

The interview to CNN was given during his three-day bus tour to key swing states of Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois in rural America, a move seen as the launch of his 2012 election campaign against an emboldened Republican party which has slammed his economic policies.

Obama, the first Afro-American man to become the President of the United States, faces a tough task to get re-elected as his popularity has dipped in recent times due to the ever deteriorating economic conditions of the country.
