Thane: Industrial honchos hold protest, support Anna
The Thane Small-Scale Industries Association (TISA), a body of entrepreneurs and industrialists in the Thane-Belapur belt, has decided to extend support to Hazare's cause and over 400 members are expected to participate in the fast.
According to Madhusudan Khambete 80-year-old, the president of TISA, "Support is swelling for Hazare's cause and more youngsters are joining the protests. My 20-year-old grandson has volunteered to join the fast and the common man, who is troubled by corruption, is joining in too.''
This won't be an end for the Thane citizens to highlight their strong support for Anna. It has also been planned that the workers and labour unions would go for a street march at 8 am from the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) headquarters to the B Cabin area near the Thane railway station.
