According to the study conducted by web tracking firm Experian Hitwise, users feel Bing is more effective than Google after judging by the number of results they actually click on. The study found that nearly 80 percent of Bing searches led to a visit to one of the websites identified in the results.
Whereas, only 67 percent of Google searches offered visit to the sites showed in the result.
Recently, online research firm ComScore found that Google's share in United States search market declined to 65.1 per cent in Jul from 65.5 per cent in Jun 2011. Yahoo, which uses Bing for all searches on Yahoo sites, rose to 16.1 per cent from 15.9 per cent in the same period.
