India Against Corruption campaign
New Delhi, Aug 16: With the arrest of Anna Hazare and the members of Team Anna including social activist Arvind Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi, the website 'India Against Corruption' has been flooded with visitors who want to join the protest against corruption in the country.

'India Against Corruption' is a website aimed to gather more support for making a strong Lokpal Bill. The motive behind the website is to pressurise the government for enacting Team Anna's version of Lokpal bill, which is known as Jan Lokpal Bill.

"India Against Corruption movement is an expression of collective anger of people of India against corruption. We have all come together to force/request/persuade/pressurize the Government to enact the Jan Lokpal Bill. We feel that if this Bill were enacted it would create an effective deterrence against corruption," the website describes its motive.

The 'India Against Corruption' has also started its page on social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. The India Against Corruption page on Facebook has got more than 288,491 'Like'.

The website also displays the draft of the government version of Lokpal Bill, which was accused of lacking credibility to meet the growing corruption in the country. Visitors can download Lokpal Bill and can comment their views on it.

A mobile number is also given in the website where users can give a 'missed call' and express their support. If you want to join the campaign, give a missed call to 022-61550789 and your number will be registered in the campaign against corruption. The website claimed that as of Aug 5, this number received 1.2 crore missed calls.

The primary focus of India Against Corruption (IAC) movement is to ensure a strong Lokpal bill. The IAC is a strictly voluntary organization and its participants are bound by the IAC code of conduct.
