Google Doodles mark South Korea, Pakistan Independence Day
Just like the internet giant Google featured doodle to celebrate India's Independence Day, Google greeted its visitors to South Korea home page with a new doodle.
Google doodle for South Korea Liberation Day featured a national flag with the company name "Google" on it. Clicking on the doodle, Google showed search result for 'Independence Day.'
The doodle for Indian independence day featured the iconic Mughal monument Red Fort, which is situated in Delhi. During India's I-Day celebrations, country prevails the tradition of Prime Ministers hoisting flag at Red Fort.
Earlier on Aug 14, Google depicted a new doodle on Google Pakistan search engine home page to mark its Independence Day. It was the first time Google painting a special doodle for Pakistan's I-Day. Google has put a green-coloured doodle representing the colour of Pakistan"s national flag.
The 'L' of Google was replaced by 'Minar-e-Pakistan', which is the National Tower of Pakistan in Lahore. Moreover, the upper part of letter 'G' was replaced by 'Crescent and a Star' which can be seen on Pakistan's national flag.
