Anna Hazare's war with govt, police on Independence Day
Anna and his team on Monday, Aug 15 will hand over the undertaking to the Delhi police to receive the permission confirmation notice to resume their fast-unto-death protest on Tuesday, Aug 16. But sources claimed that team Anna may refuse to accept two of the conditions imposed by the cops and the government.
Delhi police on Saturday, Aug 13 sent a letter with 22 conditions to team Anna. Two of the conditions said that Anna can hold his fast only for three days, i.e. till 6 pm of Aug 18 and maximum 5000 people can gather there at the venue to support Anna and his team.
Calling police's conditions "unconstitutional" and "undemocratic", team Anna had earlier expressed their dissatisfaction over the decision taken by the government.
Citing the situation, which has been fueled up with Congress' corruption charges against Anna, it seems that police and team Anna may engage in a war on the Independence Day.
