CAG report on CWG : More shocking revelations out in open
The report throws light on the entire planning and management of the CWG event that was to be held in Delhi. The report also reveals that the expenditure should be defined and should not cross the needs of what is demanded. The report also alerts the government of being vigilant during the expenditure.
The report which is 743 pages long also talks in detail about the planning, execution, infrastructure and the overlaying contracts in the CWG village and talks explicitly about how the government suffered huge losses due to financial irregularities.
V Narayanasamy, Minister of State in Prime Minister's Office said that the report will be examined by the Public Accounts Committee after it is tabled in the Parliament.
