Baba Ramdev calls the CBI, UPA's slave
Talking to reporters, Baba Ramdev has been quoted as saying, "What all I know is that CBI is not a Baba Ramdev's agency. It is a government agency. So it will do whatever government will say. It is slave of the government. The CBI will do their work and we are doing our work and that is why we are focused on our work. And what all problems will come, we will face it."
Indirectly placing a jab at the Congress-led UPA government, Ramdev commented that his intention was to achieve political purity rather than entering politics itself. He added, "Our motive is to get the black money, change the system and to curb corruption and we have already set up a movement against it. We will change the situation when time will come. Our objective is not politics, political ambition, or political power but our aim is achieve political purity."
Baba Ramdev was at the receiving end of police atrocity when the Delhi Police engaged in a midnight swoop on Ramdev's followers totalling to close to 65,000 who had congregated at the Ram Lila Grounds. They were assembled there on a fast-unto-death campaign to bring back the black money stashed abroad. He was also seeking a complete revamp of the political system and demanding that all corrupt politicians should be delivered a death penalty.
