UP: Mayawati to arrest Amitabh Bachchan and team Aarakshan?
Such shocking news came when the Bollywood superstar wrote from his Twitter account, "The administration (UP) does not allow us to enter the city..unofficial reports by police say they have instructions to arrest us if we do."
Mayawati government claimed that the promotion of Aarakshan may leave a fire among the students to initiate fresh protest. To avoid any kind of law and order situation in the state, Mayawati administration barred the Aarakshan team to meet the students of Lucknow university.
Meanwhile, the director of the movie, Prakash Jha also claimed, "My film is not political at all; it is based on the status of higher education in our country today. But I don't know there is some kind of apprehension; there are leaders who are worried about the outcome of the film. Nobody has contacted me, or asked me to show the film. The Censor Board has already seen it and approved it."
