Karnataka: Lokayukta report haunts BSY's Shimoga trust?
The teachers and the students of the college are disturbed over the development that the trust is facing. BY Raghavendra, Yeddyurappa's son and the managing trustee and MP, Shimoga was a usual visitor to the trust and used to supervise the construction on the 50 acre premises. But ever since the lokayukta report has indicted the BSY family to accept 20 crore from the mining company, he did not turn up this week. BSY too was a usual visitor to the college and never missed an opportunity to participate in the college programmes.
The trust also opened a new polytechnic, inaugurated by scientist, CNR Rao but none of the trustees turned up for the occasion, including MLC Doreswamy, Bangalore PES institutions. Apart from Yeddyurappa, his two sons, daughters and son-in-laws are also trustees.
