Bellary, Jul 31: The Bellary Reddy brother's who were indicted in the Lokayukta Report for illegal mining seem to be far from falling below the radar.

Despite of the report having a full chapter on the mining barons named-"Republic of Bellary" the Reddy's were audacious enough to object against their names popping out in the report.

Karunakaran Reddy on Friday, Jul 29 said that he would take legal action against Justice Santosh Hedge on charges of 'defaming' him. Janardhana Reddy also said that he would in a press conference reveal vital information on the mining scam.

It is not hidden that the Bellary money power helped the BJP tighten their clutches on the Vidhana Soudha in the year 2008.

Meanwhile, 49 trucks owned by the Bellary brothers were seized by the district collector on Sunday, Jul 31(today).

The trucks were captured near Alighar transporting precious iron ore. The trucks were found to be carrying the ore for Bellary Mining Corporation (BMS) that is owned by Srinivas Reddy.

Srinivas Reddy is associated with Obalapuram Mining Company that belongs to his brother-in-law State Tourism Minister Janardhan Reddy, who is one of the all-powerful Reddy Brothers in the district.
