After BSY, Reddy brothers play their cards now
The Bellary Reddy brothers indicted in the Karnataka Lokayukta report are accused of misusing power and corruption. The Reddy's, however, rubbished the claims of these alleged involvement in the scam and called Hegde's facts wrong.
According to the report, the Obalapuram Mining Company which the Reddy brothers were directors of, breached the mining laws.
"This is totally false," said Karunakara Reddy.
"I have great respect for Hegde as he worked as a Supreme Court judge. When he became the Lokayukta, I had great respect too. But he has hurt me with these false reports," he added.
Reddy said that he was consulting his advocate on what action was needed to be taken. Janardhan Reddy is the Tourism Minister of Karnataka, while Karunakar Reddy is the Revenue Minister of the state.
