Political tug-of-war in Karnataka; its BJP vs BSY now
Giving out a stern warning, the scenario has now become such that it has become Yeddyurappa vs the BJP. The BJP Central leadership has said that all MLAs and Ministers attending the emergency meeting scheduled to be held in Bangalore at 10am will be sacked.
Sources within the BJP have revealed that Yeddyurappa have been asked to step down by the top brass in the party. With BSY defiant and maintaining that he will not resign come what may, the BJP has no other option but to crack its whip.
Yeddyurappa was also asked to attend the Parliamentary Board meeting convened by the BJP top brass on Thursday morning, but in an apparent act of defiance, the rebel CM flouted party orders and flew back to Bangalore at 6:30am. His call for an emergency meeting has also left the BJP High Command red-faced.
With Yeddyurappa having had to face many such earlier attempts by various parties who wanted to gun down his position as the CM, BSY is sure to put up a fight even if he has to eventually step down. Now the question is who will attend the controversial meeting convened by BSY, that is sure to welcome the wrath of the BJP top leaders.
