Mohanlal in trouble? I-T team visits his residence again
The I-T sleuths were back at the superstar's house after they were unsuccessful in opening the biometric locks that can only be opened using the fingerprint of the actor and his family members.
The actor, who is busy shooting at Rameshwaram for his movie, was interrogated by the I-T officials at the shooting location last week.
In the raids conducted at his residence, two elephant tusks were seized by the tax men.
The two actors-Mohanlal and Mammootty were nailed down after there were reports that the two superstars amassed large portion of their wealth in Dubai to save themselves from paying taxes.
The residence and offices of Malayalam superstars, Mammootty and Mohanlal were raided by the Income Tax Department on Jul 22 after there were reports of the both the actors evaded paying taxes.
Meanwhile, a detailed report on their findings is being prepared by the I-T officials.
