The maid, Nafissatou Diallo also granted the ABC News and the news-magazine permission to name her.
"I want justice. I want him to go to jail," she said in a television interview.
Douglas Wigdor, her lawyer also told that the maid came forward to let the whole world know that she was not "shakedown artist or a prostitute".
"I never want to be in public but I have no choice," said the victim to ABC News, adding "Now, I have to be in public. I have to, for myself. I have to tell the truth."
The maid also claimed that the Ex-IMF Chief appeared nude from his bathroom suite and was like "a crazy man to me", she said.
"You're beautiful," she accounted Strauss-Kahn as saying adding that he attacked her despite her resistance.
