Buenos Aires (Argentina), Jul 24: The 14-time Champion Uruguay will face Paraguay in the final match of Copa America 2011 at Monumental Stadium in Buenos Aires on Sunday, Jul 24 late night.

In the final of Copa America 2011 tournament, which had lost its glamour after the ouster of host Argentina and the power house Brazil, Uruguay is aiming to defeat the Paraguay to win the tittle for a record 15th time.

In the semi-finals, Uruguay defeated Peru 2-0 and Paraguay advanced past Venezuela in a penalty shootout following a goalless draw. Paraguay are yet to win a game in this tournament after recording five successive draws, two of which have been settled on penalties.

Earlier in losers' final match, Peru thrashed Venezuela 4-1 to finish third in the Copa America 2011. Striker Paolo Guerrero's hat trick helped Peru to overcome Venezuela.
