Focusing on this crucial issue, a large number of youth walked 3 km to protest sexual violence against women on Sunday, Jul 17 afternoon. This was India's first 'Slut Walk' or 'besharmi morcha'. "We got 5,000 registrations for the Bhopal walk on Facebook. But parents did not permit many girls to participate because it is called Slut Walk and the Indian name for it is Besharmi Morcha," said Prince Gaba, an organiser.
