Armed with sophisticated gadgets and sniffer dogs, Anti-Terror Squad of Mumbai police tried to ensure forensic experts that no major damages would be done to the evidences but heavy downpour poured water on their plans and activities.
However, trying to soothe the experts, police official claimed, "It may not have much effect but some evidence may be washed away."
Three back-to-back blasts at Dadar, Zaveri Bazar and Opera House killed at least 21 people and injured more than 141. Home Minister, P Chidambaram and Maharashtra Chief Minister, Prithviraj Chavan visited the blasts areas in Mumbai at the wee hours of Thursday.
Recently, Intelligence Bureau (IB) alerted all metro cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore and Hyderabad about the possible terror attacks. All Mumbaikars have been requested to stay calm and not to panic over the ultra attacks. Red alert has been issued in all cities.
