Stay Connected: Google+ to add address book uploader
Rohit Khare, a Google product manager, wrote in a Google+ post about the addition of address book uploader. He said, "One of the most flexible tools is an address book uploader, and I wanted to share the good news that it will be rolling out to everyone over the next few days."
The new Google Plus address book uploader allows users to upload their contacts in the standard CSV or vCard formats. Rohit Khare said that Google won"t mix the imported contacts up with all other Google Contacts. It only store the ones that users put into their Circles.
The new address book uploader will be added in few days. Meanwhile, it's expected that Google will add more features in near future. Rumour mills reported that the new Facebook-Killer will get apps, games and some sort of advertisements.
Google has not yet announced release date for Google+, but it became a super hit among social networking geeks. According to a latest report, Google+, which is currently in field trial stage, will cross 20 million users mark in few days. Stay tuned for more updates and reviews.
