Security stepped up in Karnataka
Bangalore, Jul 13: Police in Karnataka today scaled up security and vigil in the state, particularly in this IT hub following the serial blasts in Mumbai.

Later
talking
to
reporters,
Additional
Commissioner
of
Police,
Bangalore
city,
Sunil
Kumar
said
nakabandi
bandobast
had
been
imposed
across
the
city
to
keep
unwanted
elements
at
bay.
Patrolling vehicles were also doing rounds in the city to keep a tab on suspicious elements, he said.
Security has also been beefed up in the International Airport, the city railway station, shopping malls and busy areas, he said.
Meanwhile, Home Minister, R Ashoka visited the city railway station and several bus stations in Bangalore to inspect the security arrangements that have been made in the wake of the serial blasts.
