Rajasthan Government doctors withdraw mass leave plan
The state government last night invoked RESMA (Rajasthan Essential Services Maintenance Act) last night and banned their proposed strike, but invited a delegation of the doctors for talks.
"There is now understanding on our time bound promotions and we have decided to call off the proposed strike," Dr Nisreen, who was part of the delegation, said.
The meeting between the committee comprising Medical and Health Minister Duru Miyan, Industry Minister Rajendra Pareek and Energy Minister Jitendra Singh and the doctors' delegation began late last night and ended at around 2.30 am.
