Rajasthan: Govt doctors to go on 2-day mass leave
Ahead of the scheduled mass leave, a delegation of doctors met a sub-committee of ministers comprising Medical and Health minister Duru Miyan, Energy minister Jitendra Singh and Industry minister Rajendra Pareek but the meeting failed.
"What the government offered was not beneficial for us so we decided to go ahead with our plan of two-day mass leave on July 12 and July 13," Ajay Choudhary, a representative of All Rajasthan government doctors'' association, said.
The agitators also threaten to resign on July 14 if their demands were not met by July 13.
"We have been demanding time bound promotions, pay parity with central government doctors and a long term for medical teachers but the government neglected our justified demands," Choudhary said.
