Juana and Sini were tested positive for methandienone and there were traces of epimethandiol in Tiana's urine sample.
The Blood test were done on the athletes at the National Dope Testing Laboratory
"We have served them with the second notice where we have asserted that the three athletes have committed an anti-doping rule violation. They will now appear before the anti-doping disciplinary panel. If found guilty, they face a ban of upto two years as it is their first offence," said Rahul Bhatnagar, NADA director general on the results.
The disciplinary panel will soon fix a date for the hearing.
Meanwhile, Yuri Ogorodnik, the sacked Ukrainian coach in a press conference held on Jul 9 (today) claimed innocence and said that he did not give the athletes any steroids.
“I am a professional coach and I don"t give dope," said Yuri.
“How can I give steroids to girls who are on WADA list? Girls believe in me and I believe them," he said in a press conference at Patiala.
"I have been giving these supplements for the past 10 years," he added.
Ashwini Akkunji, Sini Jose, Juana Murmu, Priyanka Pawar, Mandeep Kaur and Tiana Mary Thomas were the athletes who were trained under Yuri and the ones who failed the dope test.
