Gurgaon suicide case takes a new turn

New Delhi, Jul 8: The Gurgaon suicide case of 28-year-old Ruchi Bhuttani, who was found hanging at her DLF city house on Tuesday, Jul 5 seems to be quite different from that of such other cases. The twist in this story has been discovered when Ruchi's diary revealed the fact that she was forced to commit suicide.

Two days after Ruchi had put an end to her life by hanging herself, her parents handed over a diary she maintained as her biography that disclosed her estranged relationship with her husband because of his extra-marital affair with a young model.

Ruchi's sister Shefali complained that Sumit (Ruchi's husband) used to compare Ruchi with Meera Chopra, his girlfriend. "He would always tell her that you will never be like Meera," she said.

Ruchi Bhuttani's diary, which dates back to 2006, talks about how her marriage was constantly under stress and disturbance and how she was even allegedly tortured by her husband for several years.

While Sumit Bhuttan was arrested after Ruchi died, model Meera Chopra is yet to be questioned. Gurgaon DLF Phase II SHO Babulal said, "He has been arrested. We are looking for Meera Chopra."
