Delhi Belly trashes good-boy Aamir's image

Ujjain (MP), Jul 7: Malwa Rangmanch Samiti today (Jul 7) demanded that appointment of actor Aamir Khan as brand ambassador to create awareness against malnutrition among children be cancelled.

Aamir was earlier known for making inspiring and emotional films but his latest venture "Delhi Belly" was full of vulgar and abusive words, the samiti president Keshav Rai told PTI here, adding "Under these circumstances, continuing with Aamir as a brand ambassador would send a wrong message.

The actor on Monday named as the brand ambassador of the Women and Child Development Ministry (WCD) for spreading the message of curbing malnutrition among children.

Rai said that the samiti has also written to prime minister and the union minister, Krishna Tirath, in this regard.

The film star had also been urged not to adopt cheap tactics for attracting the younger generation to cinema halls, he said.
