Maria Susairaj reaches B'lore, orders food from restaurant

Bangalore, Jul 6: Maria Susairaj, the co-accused in Neeraj Grover murder case who left Mumbai following threat to her life has reached Bangalore, said reports.

Maria who was let off lightly by the Mumbai High Court reached her parents house here and ordered an Andhra meal from a restaurant.

Maria's parents live in 9th cross, Hombegowda Nagar, Wilson Garden, Bangalore. According to sources, Maria's family sold their property in Mysore after she became famous for her involvement in the country's most brutal murder.

After escaping from the eyes of media in Mumbai, Maria maintained distance from media here too. Her family said that the actress would soon hold a press conference.

The door of the actresses house was opened partially when a delivery boy from a restaurant delivered food. The delivery boy said that the food was ordered in the name of Maria.

Maria left Mumbai on Jul 3 and travelled by road after witnessing the public outrage in Mumbai following her release from the jail.

Susairaj was let off by the Mumbai High Court after sentencing her to three years in prison which she had already served. She was asked to pay a sum of Rs 50,000 to the Grover family.

Emily Jerome Mathew, Naval Officer and Susairaj's fiance was given a 10 year jail sentence by the court which found him "guilty of culpable homicide not amounting to murder".

Neeraj Grover was killed in 2008 at Malad West in a flat. His body was cut into pieces after he died and then burnt near Manor in Thane.
