Navi Mumbai to get new hawking policy, says Min Ganesh Naik
The State government will formulate the policy keeping in mind the Centre's policy, he said adding that land will be made available for a police station at Thane Ghodbunder road.
A welfare board for 21 lakh private vehicle drivers will be set up by the government, said Ajith Pawar, deputy chief minister, Maharashtra.
The suburban collector has been asked by the government to render the 7, 500 sq meters of land to build a muslim cemetery.
2, 500 sq meteres land will be for the Bohra, while the remaining would be for the Sunnis, said Naseem Khan, Minister, Minority Affairs.
