Outraged Telangana activists barge into houses of rebel MLAs
The groups, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), students and the Joint Action Committee, who are fighting for a separate state attacked the houses of leaders.
In Malkagiri the protestors attacked the house of Akula Rajendra, leader, Congress legislator and asked for his resignation. Despite of police intervention, two young men threatened to commit suicide after climbing a cell phone tower if he did not leave the office.
Till now 82 members of assembly out of 119 have resigned from the region, the remaining are unwilling to resign. Jaipal Reddy along with five other MPs are amongst the one's who have not submitted their resignation.
A member of TDP, Rajya Sabha, Warangal, Gundu Sudha Rani's house was also attacked by the activists who demanded her resignation.
The JAC, also consisting students from Osmania University threatened that they would attack the houses of those ministers who failed to resign.
The Telangana Rashtriya Samiti called for a 48-hour bandh on Jul 5 (today), demanding for a separate state. Normal life in the Telangana region of Andhra Pradesh was disrupted due to the bandh amidst tight security.
