The athletes Sini Jose and Tiana Mary Thomas, were asked to come together by the National Anti Doping Agency (NADA) and will also have to face a jury here.
The results of the sample taken by NADA from Jun 11 to Jun 14 during the National Inter-State Athletics Meet, Bangalore indicated that Jauna Murmu, Sini Jose, Sonia and Hari Krishnan were tested positive for taking methandienone, a banned medicine, while Tiana Mary Thomas was tested positive for an energy storing steroid, epimethandiol in urine, said media reports.
Mandip Kaur, who was tested positive for a drug test conducted by IAAF claimed innocence denying allegations against her that she took steroids.
According to media reports, Sini and Thomas could be given a second chance by the NADA.
All the six athletes were provisionally suspended from the team after they failed the dope test. They were to take part in the Asian Championships which is scheduled to start on Jun 7 in Japan.
