Reality haunts Sachan in death; evidence mounts against him

Lucknow, Jul 4: The reality seem to haunt Deputy CMO YS Sachan even in death with the Uttar Pradesh government unearthing crucial evidence to establish his role in the killing of the Chief medical officer BP Singh. Two pistols that were apparently used in the killing of Singh was recovered with the fingers pointing to Sachan citing call records made in this regard.

The facts were revealed by cabinet secretary Sahashank Shekhar in a press conference and said that the two pistols were confiscated from three people namely RK Verma, Vinod Sharma and Anand Tiwari who were arrested by the STF on Jun 17. He further stated that Verma had carried out the killing with the help of two shooters following orders from Sachan who was his close friend. Verma stated department rivalry as the reason for the killing.

Further police investigation backed the claim after the pistols and shells recovered from the crime spot matched with those of the shooters. The forensic report and call details between the trio was looked into and their links with Sachan was digitally established.

The call records also verified the relationship of the shooters with Sachan and the voice recordings matched that further validated the claim. During the course of the investigation, a Saurabh Khanna's name emerged who is believed to have funded Sachan to carry out the killing spree.
