Raj Thackeray's MNS threatens Maria Susairaj
MNS said that it would do its best to stop any efforts made by media houses or film directors to cast Susairaj.
Amid high drama, Maria's freedom attracted public criticism after she along with her Naval officer Fiance, Emily Jerome Mathew were arrested in the killing of TV executive, Neeraj Grover.
While Maria claimed innocence and extended her sympathy to the Grover family, Neeraj's friends held a protest against her seeking justice.
"I am innocent, I will challenge the court's verdict," Maria had said in a press conference.
Dismissing allegations that the body was cut up, her lawyer, Shaikh M Sharif had said that Neeraj's body was intact and not cut into pieces as said by the media.
Susairaj was let off by the Mumbai High Court after sentencing her to three years in prison which she had already served. She was asked to pay a sum of Rs 50,000 to the Grover family.
Emily Jerome Mathew, Naval Officer and Susairaj's fiance was given a 10 year jail sentence by the court which found him "guilty of culpable homicide not amounting to murder".
Neeraj Grover was killed in 2008 at Malad West in a flat. His body was cut into pieces after he died and then burnt near Manor in Thane.
