UP: Uma Bharti to wash out Maya with clean Ganga project?

Ghaziabad, Jul 1: Launching a campaign to clean river Ganga, BJP leader Uma Bharati seems to be already playing her cards for the next year's elections.

Starting her rally from Garhmukteshwar, approximately 80 kms away from Ghaziabad, Uma said that she would go to each house, so that more people could associate with her campaign.

Uma also criticised the government for its "lacklustre" attitude towards the issue and water pollution in National Ganga and said that she would ask the Prime Minister on how much was spent on the Ganga River Basin Authority.

Uma said that she would sit on a fast to save Ganga if the government failed to giver her "amicable" reply on the issue.

At least 500 people and state level leaders of BJP attended the campaign.
