Chennai, Jul 1: When the DMK's position in the UPA government is trembling, other ally of the party also hinted to break their alliance with Karunanidhi's party. Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) chief S Ramadoss said that it will review its ties with Dravidian outfit.

When Ramadoss was asked about its alliance with DMK, the PMK chief said, "It is a policy decision which will have to be decided at the General Council and the Executive. We will decide before the local body polls."

Without naming DMK, the PMK chief also hurled a fresh attack on the former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Karunanidhi's party over withdrawal of Prohibition regime in 1971. Ramadoss also hinted that Karunanidhi allegedly had "destroyed many generations" as many took to liquor.

Emphasising the ill-effects of liquor and cinema, the PMK chief also asserted that films and liquor should be banned atleast for five years. PMK chief's demand was being considered as an urge for the youth in Tamil Nadu.

Such statements from the PMK chief can be a bigger shocker for the DMK as the party (DMK) has been confronted with several

troubles starting from 2G spectrum to failure in state assembly election, former telecom minister A Raja's arrest to Kanimozhi's arrest.
