Neeraj Grover murder: Kannada actress & fiance held guilty

Mumbai, Jun 30: The Mumbai court, which was hearing the case of Neeraj Grover murder case, proclaimed its judgment on Thursday, Jun 30. The court convicted the accused, actress Maria Susairaj and her fiance Emile Jerome Mathew as the guilty. The sentences will be declared on Friday.

Emile Jerome Mathew is accused of culpable homicide not amounting to murder. Though Maria has been cleared from murder charges, she has been convicted guilty for destructing evidences.

Maria and her fiance killed Neeraj Grover in May 2008. Grover's body was chopped into several pieces and was disposed off in a bag in Mumbai outskirts.

Media reports came out with two different stories. While some say Grover was killed as he (Grover) failed to fulfill his promise to give "break" to Maria in the industry, the other alleged that Jerome killed Grover suspecting about an affair between Maria and the slain TV executive.
