Anna Hazare said, "Baba has expressed his wish to sit on fast with me but I have placed a set of demands in front of him. If they are met, then I will think about it."
Team Hazare, after rocking the entire nation with their April, 2011 protest against corruption, threatened once again that he would go for an indefinite fast from August 16, 2011 if a strong bill was not prepared.
A member of civil society activists led by Hazare said in Delhi, "This is not the first time that Anna has said this. Earlier too he had mentioned that he will welcome Baba Ramdev to join his fast only after they talked about certain issues."
Baba ramdev's protest against corruption had to face the police action when the cops dismantled his huge yoga camp plus sit-in-protest in Delhi on June 5. The police lathicharged and teargassed the 65,000 people who were with Baba Ramdev at Ramlila Maidan; the yoga teacher was evicted and flown back to Uttarakhand.
But, Baba's violent statement of raising an army of 11,000 young men and women to strike back when attacked was frowned upon by the Hazare Team.
