Will Neymar heed Pele's advice about joining Real Madrid?

Neymar and Pele
Madrid, Jun 23: Pele, arguably the finest footballer ever has advised his upcoming young compatriot Neymar, to move out of Santos and further his promising career with La Liga side Real Madrid.

Neymar, aged only 19 is considered as one of the finest young talents in football and is tipped to be the successor to Brazil's just retired footballing great Ronaldo, in the national set-up.

Pele, also from Brazil, and widely revered as the finest footballer ever was quoted by AS as saying, "Going there is not just about the money, but also that the Santos president accepts [selling him]...He did not want to sell Neymar until after the 2014 World Cup, but I would advise him to move to Real Madrid."

It is not the first time that there are talks surrounding Neymar's move to a more established league than the Brazilian one. In 2010, Neymar had almost signed a deal with English Premier League side Chelsea but ended up staying with Santos.

And if Pele is to believed, not joining Chelsea was a wise move by the upcoming youngster, who is touted as Brazil's future legend. Pele said, "Neymar is in the right condition to play in Spain. That is a football which is suited for his abilities. Eight months ago he could have gone to England, but I told him that style was not for him, it did not go with his physical condition."
