Height of cruelty: Mother cooks 6-week-old baby in microwave

New York, Jun 23: Mother is known as god. But in a shocking incident in the United States, a mother left many questions about the notion as she turned into a cruel killer of her own child. The incident shows the world how cruel a mother can be. A woman allegedly killed her six-week-old baby in a microwave oven.

29-year-old Ka Yang has been arrested from her residence in Sacramento, capital of California, as the local media reported on Thursday, Jun 23. Yang has also been charged with homicide.

The Los Angeles Times quoted the police officials as saying, "We don't know what motivated her to do the crime. We don't really know what led up to it."

The investigative personnel moved the forensic experts for advise and the officials described the terrific condition of the baby claiming that the baby's burns were unexplainable.

"This was definitely unique. Detectives realised they would have to look beyond what they normally do... and found experts who said the injuries appeared to be from a microwave," an investigating official said.
