I am the 'biggest threat' to BJP: Digvijay Singh
"BJP faces the biggest threat from me and therefore, whenever I visit Madhya Pradesh, its party leaders get nervous," said Digvijay Singh while on a political campaign for Tanya Solomon, Congress candidate.
Singh also claimed that corruption during the BJP rule increased in Madhya Pradesh. He further added that BJP leaders who roamed around on bicycles seven years ago now move around in SUVs.
The BJP failed to fulfill its promises of constructing good roads and provide electricity to the people after the party came to power in Dec 2003, he said.
He also said that during his tenure as the Chief Minister not a single farmer bought fertilizers in black but now they are forced to buy it from black market.
He blamed the ruling members of the party and said that the process of implementation of forest rights Act was tardy.
Rajiv Katna, BJP Chief of the state said that if Ravneet Singh were to become a doctor then Digvijay Singh should be the person who needed treatment after Nitin Gadkari was criticised by Ravneet Singh Bittu, Congress Chief, Punjab.
The party dressed up like doctors operated upon Nitin Gadkari's dummy after making him unconscious.
“Digvijay Singh needs treatment as he address even the terrorist as 'ji" with a mark of respect," said Rajiv Katna.
He further added that it was disappointing to see that Congress took long to act on corrupt leaders like A Raja and Suresh Kalmadi.
